Woodworking

CHANT hosted a free four-week woodworking course with Glen Petersen from March 6th thru the 30th, 2023. Young people, ages 18 to 30, of all experience levels were welcomed, and higher-level classes were offered to those who wished to get more technical with the craft. The curriculum consisted of Introduction to Woodworking and Wood Turning and Intermediate Woodworking and Wood Turning.

Glen Petersen is an amateur woodworker, wood turner, and woodworking student of over 30 years. He builds a variety of furniture, from replicas of antiques to craftsman style, with a modern twist. He has studied with many modern masters, including David Ellisworth, Phillip Lowe, Steve Latta Mike Pekovich.
